Camp-Lemonnier

In the Camp Lemonnier project, located in the Djibouti region of Africa and involving 77 construction companies as main contractors, AAON rooftop units were utilized in the water storage and distribution system building.

Due to the high humidity levels in the project area and its coastal location, the selected units were required to provide effective humidity control as well as strong resistance to corrosion. AAON rooftop units perform humidity control through a modulating hot gas reheat system. For corrosion protection, both the evaporator and condenser coils are coated with a polymer finish. These technical features made the AAON units stand out as the preferred solution for the project.

Thanks to the hot gas reheat dehumidification option, humidity can be controlled without additional energy consumption. With these capabilities, the system fully meets the specific requirements of the project.

KONDENSER

AAON rooftop units, equipped with variable-speed compressors and variable airflow fans, provide zone pressure control to prevent dust infiltration into the conditioned space.

Their 50 mm thick, double-skin, thermal bridge-free panel construction reduces heat transfer from the external surface by up to three times compared to standard panels.

Thanks to their oversized condenser areas, AAON rooftop units are capable of operating with 100% fresh air even under extreme outdoor conditions of up to 55°C.
