ATLANTİK GRUP, the distributor of several well-established HVAC brands such as AAON (USA), MITA (Italy), WESPER (France), and CENTURY (South Korea), has signed a distributorship agreement with THERMOCOLD, one of Italy’s leading manufacturers in the chiller segment.
THERMOCOLD offers a broad product range, including multifunctional chiller units (2-pipe, 4-pipe, and 6-pipe systems) and heat pumps. All models are EUROVENT-certified, confirming their performance ratings, and are manufactured in Southern Italy in compliance with ERP directives.
With scroll or inverter scroll compressor options, Thermocold’s multifunctional chillers can precisely meet varying load requirements of facilities. The use of MULTI-SCROLL technology across all compressors enables high energy efficiency. This improves part-load performance and optimizes ESEER and IPLV values, thereby reducing electricity consumption in line with real-time energy demand.
These chillers provide simultaneous cooling and heating by transferring waste heat—which would otherwise be lost to the environment—to other applications. A prime example is domestic hot water production: as the unit cools the building, it can heat water in a storage tank at no additional cost.
Multifunctional chillers can simultaneously supply cooling, heating (via heat pump mode), and domestic hot water. This makes them particularly suitable for industrial facilities, hotels, and villas, where cooling is often required year-round. The recovered heat from the cooling process can be used for DHW or space heating in administrative buildings.
The QUATTRO PROZONE EA series can deliver heating water and domestic hot water at temperatures up to 60°C even in outdoor conditions as low as -18°C during winter. In summer, it continues to supply chilled water and domestic hot water up to 60°C simultaneously and efficiently—essentially free of charge.
For industrial and commercial projects that require heat pump operation under harsh winter conditions and high output water temperatures, the DOMINO EXR and MEX EXR series with built-in Nordic Kit provide the ideal solution. This technology allows the system to deliver 55°C water at -20°C outdoor temperature, and up to 65°C at -10°C. The result is higher condensation temperatures and lower evaporation temperatures for enhanced efficiency.
Thermocold also manufactures air- and water-cooled chillers with cooling capacities ranging from 5 to 750 kW.
